This is the first time I am writing a post that will be strickly for our readers to debate who they believe is better and why. This will be a successful and reccurring post if enough people comment. I want to see at least 12 comments on here with your Name, Email, and a url (just put ours in there, no one sees it).
Who do you think is better as an overall baseball player? Albert Pujols or Alex Rodriguez?

interesting picture you chose. and it is “recurring” not “reoccuring”
Looks like the debate started with a bang! Rachel v Jason haha..
This debate would have been more interesting a few months ago, before A-Rod was outed for doing steriods. This put a black cloud over A-Rod, but some people don’t care if you’re doing steroids (like anyone who supports Barry Bonds).
However, that should make this choice easier. Prince Albert is the man here. He is the best player in baseball because he could have won MVP every single season he’s been in the majors. If Bonds wasn’t around, he would have at least five MVPs right now, instead of two.
Pujols is younger and hits for a better average, even though Rodriguez isn’t a simply a power hitter. A-Rod has won a gold glove (although he really won it by being a good hitter), but so has Pujols. There are many people who believe that Pujols is the best fielder at his position in the National League, and he gets better every year.
Right now, A-Rod is more of a threat to hit a homerun, but who is more of a threat sitting at the plate, Pujols. Has to be Pujols (check with Brad Lidge on that one – 2005 NLCS Game 5).
Advantage – Pujols.
Go get em this year Albert!
Pujols, ofcourse!! A-Rod would be a nothing without steroids. By the way, nice picture.
That picture automatically prevents anyone from choosing A-Rod.
Isn’t that the point. I choose Pujols for so many reasons by the way. He is just so much more clutch its unreal. Also he has never struck out more than 80 times in a season. Not to mention he has started his career hitting at least 30 HRs in each year.
Pujols, obvisously, well actually, I would have argued A-Rod a few months ago, but he broke my heart. Now I am an Astros fan. Thank you A-Rod for being a liar, a cheater, and a scumbag who chases Madonna after her prime. Well done, A-Rod, you rock my socks. Also, get clutch you selfish twat-goblin.
I co-sign on what Derek said. I never was really a fan of A-rod but the steroids and Madonna (seriously A-rod out of all the woman you could pick from you pick her?). I know his steriod use got swept under the rug and its no longer in the headlines, but this dude was supposed to break all the records as a pure, hard working athlete. We now know he isn’t and I hope he never breaks Barry Bonds home run record. I know Chris is going to rant and rave because he thinks Bonds and Satan are the same but why have A-rod break it if he did the same thing as Bonds. Hopefully one day someone will come along and break the record without taking steriod, but as a baseball fan who’s love of baseball as been beaten, battered, and broken by the Yankees $999 million dollar payroll, steroids, and the Indians unable to re-sign there stars over the years, I don’t think this will ever happen.
The better debate: Rollins or Jeter?
Rollins. Yea, I said it.
also, it’s “strictly”.
