Power Rankings: June 8 – 14
Biggest Jumps of the Week: Rockies +9, Mariners -8
1. Dodgers (42-22) – Broxton has gone from setup man to untouchable closer in one year.
2. Red Sox (38-25) – Haven’t lost a game all season to the Yankees, naturally they have to be ranked higher than them.
3. Phillies (36-25) – Raul Ibanez hates bloggers, he is now my enemy. They are creeping closer to #1 G.
4. Yankees (36-27) – Haven’t beaten the Red Sox all season, naturally they have to be ranked lower than them.
5. Rangers (35-27) – Leading the West but not the best in the West after losing 2 of 3 vs. the Dodgers.
6. Angels (32-29) – Jared Weaver has emerged as the ace of this staff leading in wins (7), ERA (2.08), Ks (74).
7. Giants (34-28) – Matt Cain and Tim Lincecum are combined a 15-2 with a 2.53 ERA.
8. Brewers (34-29) – Hoffman gave up his first run of the season on Sunday but still has 0 blown saves.
9. Tigers (34-29) – A near guaranteed win when Verlander and Jackson are on the mound. A near guaranteed loss when Willis and Galaraga are on the mound.
10. Rays (34-31) – If BJ Upton can get his average over .250 I think this is the best team in the division.
11. Mets (32-29) – Wouldn’t it be funny if they lose the divison by one game?
12. Cardinals (34-30) – Pujols can’t do it all, I don’t even know half the guys on LaRussa’s roster.
13. Blue Jays (34-31) – Good news for the Jays, Halladay should be back June 20th to resume his domination.
14. Cubs (30-30) – The Cubs fired their hitting coach and won their first game without him, 3-2.
15. Rockies (31-32) - Winners of 11 in a row, tying a club record!
16. Twins (32-33) – Just can’t get over the .500 hump. Just win two in a row damnit!
17. Braves (30-32) – Tommy “Future” Hanson won his second major league start but then they lost the next two to the Orioles.
18. Reds (31-31) – 3-7 in their last 10 games, but just 2.5 out of first.
19. White Sox (30-34) – Mark Buehrle hit his first career HR Sunday, it was a solo shot.
20. Astros (29-32) – .344-.366.-.506, who stats are these? No, not Berkman, not Lee… Miguel Tejada.
21. Indians (29-36) – Cliff Lee turning it on as of late and threw a 3-hit vs. the Cardinals this week.
22. Padres (28-34) – They lose Jake Peavy for 4-12 weeks. Most likely 8 though.
23. Marlins (32-33) – Winners of 3 in a row and are just one game under .500 after an awful May.
24. Royals (28-34) – Bannister was 1-0 with a 0.69 ERA this past week.
25. Pirates (30-33) – Took 2 of 3 from the AL Central leading Tigers.
26. Mariners (30-33) – Beltre has a .299 OBP and a .379 SLG and only 4 HRs. 2004 was the biggest fluke EVER.
27. A’s (27-35) – Eric Chavez out for the year after back surgery, what else is new.
28. Diamondbacks (27-37) – Suck.
29. Orioles (27-36) – Matt Weiters isn’t so God-like afterall…yet.
30. Nationals (16-45) – Just give the Nationals the 1st pick for the next 3 years.

what does “#1 G” mean?
He is referring to how I think they should be #1 every week lol.
Haha, yeah G is short for Galen, Rach. And Galen says every week how the Phillies should be #1.
Yeah i think the Astros should be number 1.
