Well baseball video games have come quite a long way over the past 20 years. It all started with Odyssey (I think) and their magical creation of a game called "Baseball!". The game featured the simplest of graphics, but maybe the best time a young lad could ask for. The sound of that ball being pitched and caught, the feeling you get when you hit that square ball over the white line of a fence, there's nothing like it. You can let your mind wonder with this one of a kind game. Now my personal favorite has to be Ken Griffey Jr.'s Winning Run for SNES. The fake names (like Ken Griffey Jr., really? who is that?) have to be the most unique thing about the game. Slick Fitz (Jeff Bagwell) and Jeff Reynolds (Mark Mcgwire), just to name a couple, helped make this game one of a kind. I doubt some people never even had a clue to who these players could be. All that has to be said in the end is, "Hey, play the game ya kid!"...

I don't know about the gameplay but Griffey's Winning Run for SNES does have THE BEST theme song ever. Still, at the same time, it's the most annoying theme song for a game I've ever heard.
