1. Yankees (95-55) – Likely the only team to finish with 100+ wins this year after missing out on the playoffs last year.
2. Cardinals (87-63) – The Cy Young winner will be a Cardinal this year, just who will it be Carpenter or Wainwright?
3. Red Sox (89-59) – They still have a chance to win the division with a series vs. the Royals coming up followed by the Yankees.
4. Phillies (87-61) – Definitely the best starting rotation in baseball, but without a steady closer this team will have trouble come playoff time.
5. Dodgers (90-60) – Despite having the best record in the NL this team’s starting rotation is thinning out as we inch closer to October.
6. Angels (89-60) – Scott Kazmir has emerged as the potential #2 going into the playoffs with more experience than Jered Weaver.
7. Rockies (85-65) – Street is expected to pitch by Tuesday and will provide a boost to the Rockies bullpen.
8. Rangers (81-67) – They needed a sweep against the Angels at home but instead lost two, their season is all but wrapped up.
9. Tigers (79-70) – Lost two of three vs. the Twins and maintain a three game lead but still play the Twins four more times.
10. Marlins (80-70) – Started the season with a 10+ game winning streak, had a 10+ game losing streak and now find themselves 10 games over .500.  Solid.
11. Braves (79-70) - With a healthy Hudson this team has a top three rotation in the NL, look out for them in ’10.
12. Twins (76-73) – Rode a season high 6-game winning streak to bring them within two of the Tigers before dropping the finale.
13. Giants (80-69) – Losing ground in the Wild Card and fast.  SP really needs to step it up.
14. Cubs (76-72) – Their magic number against them is four after they lost two of three vs. the Cardinals.
15. Mariners (78-72) – King Felix may reign supreme as Cy Young  by the end of the year.
16. Rays (77-73) – Hoping to finish the season above .500 to give them two consecutive seasons at that mark.
17. White Sox (73-77) – With Peavy, Buehrle, Floyd and Danks in this rotation I don’t understand being so bad.
18. Brewers (74-75) – Disappointing year and this team is on the decline unless it can find some starting pitching.
19. A’s (71-78) – The A’s are making their typical September run, but this time just to get to the .500 mark.
20. Cleveland (61-88) – I hope they break this eight-game losing streak with a three-game winning streak starting Tuesday.
21. Astros (70-79) – Deciding to shut down Oswalt for the season may be the best move Cooper made all year.
22. Blue Jays (66-83) – Roy Halladay is apprantely still shooken up from all those trade rumors, he has been pretty bad as of late.
23. Reds (69-81) – Well at least they won’t come in last place.
24. Diamondbacks (65-85) – How is it that a bunch of Cy Young contenders are on such bad teams?
25. Mets (65-85) - The perfect way to describe this team: What if Reyes, Delgado, Beltran and Johan didn’t get hurt?
26. Padres (68-82) – With a series vs. the Rockies coming up this team can play the role of spoiler down the stretch.
27. Orioles (60-89) – This team definitely has the worst starting rotation in the American League, hence nearly 30 games under .500.
28. Royals (61-88) – Has a team this bad ever had a Cy Young winner on the team?
29. Pirates (56-91) – A top 5 pick is in the works for Pittsburgh for how many years in a row now?
30. Nationals (51-98) – Maybe one of the worst teams in the history of baseball despite having a handful of good offensive players.
