Biggest Jumps of the Week: Astros +4
1. Dodgers – I never expected the Dodgers to be the best team in baseball at the All-Star Break with their young and inexperienced pitching staff.
2. Red Sox – If they get rid of Brad Penny and start one of their prospects at #5 in the rotation I can see them winning the WS, yet again.
3. Angels – Owned the Yankees this past week as usual, but come back from the break without Vlad and Hunter.
4. Yankees – Trail the Red Sox by 3 …

Biggest Jumps of the Week: Rangers, White Sox +4, Mets -5
1. Dodgers (52-30) – Mannywood is back in his zipcode, it should make for an entertaining July.
2. Red Sox (49-32) – Mike Lowell lands on the shelf but Bay leads the AL in RBI, no biggie.
3. Yankees (48-33) – 9-1 in their last 10, including a sweep of division rival Blue Jays. Now if they could just sweep the Sox they’d be in good shape.
4. Angels (45-35) – Lost a crucial 2 of 3 vs. the Rangers in Texas but …

2. Red Sox (46-29) – Ortiz is batting .333 over the last week with 2 HRs.

1. Dodgers (42-22) – Broxton has gone from setup man to untouchable closer in one year.
2. Red Sox (38-25) – Haven’t lost a game all season to the Yankees, naturally they have to be ranked higher than them.
3. Phillies (36-25) – Raul Ibanez hates bloggers, he is now my enemy. They are creeping closer to #1 G.
4. Yankees (36-27) – Haven’t beaten the Red Sox all season, naturally they have to be ranked lower than them.

1. Dodgers (39-20) – Andre Eitherwood!
2. Yankees (33-23) – Even though the stadium has surrendered 100 HRs in 28 games, it has worked in the Yankees favor.
3. Phillies (33-22) – They still have a losing record at home but are NASTY on the road at 21-8.
4. Rangers (33-23) – Francisco may wind up on the DL again but CJ Wilson is 5/6 in save opps.
5. Red Sox (33-24) – Imagine if Papi were Papi and he was hitting .300 with 12 HRs? This could be a scary run if he …

Biggest Jumps of the Week: Brewers +8, Royals -7

2. Dodgers (26-13) – 5-5 since Manny’s suspension, even though replacement Pierre is batting over .400 in that span.

4. Tigers (20-16) – Swept by the Twins, yet they swept the A’s and this division sucks. Cabrera batting a healthy …

1. Dodgers (22-11) – Still have the best record in baseball and I will keep them in the top spot this week. Obviously being Manny-less for 50 games will hurt them in the long run.
2. Blue Jays (22-12) – Although their division lead seems to be shrinking every time I look, the Jays are tied for the most wins in the Majors and have a winning record on the road.
3. Red Sox (20-12) – Depsite Youkilis being hurt and Ortiz with no HRs, still the Red Sox keep winning and …
